Re: Re-added feature

Awesome work!

Now if we can get the same thing at the top of each thread as well.

A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.

Re: Re-added feature

Krusty, an hour ago, this was also at the top of the thread and now it seems that it has disappeared.

Maybe they're still working on this?

Oops, pardon!
There are only in the main thread.

Exactly! The thread page navigation controls need to appear under the opening post as well so that you can quickly navigate to the last page in a long-running thread, without having to scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the page navigation controls like you do now.

Under.

The opening post becomes a repeated header post from page 2 onwards. When a user navigates to page 2, the focus of the page shifts to the 'Replies' section of the forum layout. Here is an example of the layout I'm suggesting:

The thread navigation bar appears below the opening post. When the user navigates to page 2, the full text of the opening post will be repeated in the header section. Page focus for page 2 will shift to the first post in the Replies section (noted by the grey horizontal line above). The user only needs to scroll up slightly to access the thread navigation controls.

Ohhhhhhhhhh. Very clever! I've added the ticket for the team, and will consult with our design expert on that suggestion. Thanks!

Hi Tony and team

Thanks for implementing the thread navigation bar placement suggestion that I made above.

Re: Re-added feature

Hello

Yes, the navigation bar is on page 1 of any thread that has more than 50 posts on it. It is on both top and bottom of the pages. On the top, it is located across from replies on the right side . Thank you to Tony and team who made this feature live today.

Re: Re-added feature

But I still want to be able to jump to the last post in thread even after having read all new posts (0 New). Now I have to use this procedure: Scroll to last page (navigation bar) > Ctrl-End > Page Up. Not a complex procedure, but tedious and unnecessary. It should be possible to make the zero digit to work as a link to the last post?

Yep, working on it.
