Renewal adding on unused days

This is just an FYI for all those wondering about buying a Product Key from a third party seller (F-y's, N-wE-g, etc) and having Norton add your unused days to your new key. I just wanted to relate my experience for doing this yesterday.

First, I copied the new key to Notepad so I could cut and paste it easily. I contacted Norton through Chat and told them I wanted to add my unused days to a new key. He asked some identifying questions (email, address, phone number) to make sure I was who I said I was. Then he asked for the new key to verify it. A minute later, he gave me a web link to again copy my new key to. I opened the link, copied the new key to it and within a minute all the unused days were added to my account. I checked my other PC's and phones and all showed the days added. I didn't have to do anything else. (All devices were already signed into my Norton account.)

They have obviously streamlined this whole procedure from what I've had to do in the past. It was extremely simple and quick. I hope this gives other users some peace of mind when they decide to purchase a new key from someone other than Norton.
