Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

I've made multiple attempts to withdraw my Ethereum to Coinbase and it fails each time. Is there a known reason I'm getting these repeated failures? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

I was able to withdraw just by lowering the payout amount. For Example if you have 0.02 ETH just change it to 0.019 and try it and see if it works.

I have been mining with Norton Crypto on three of my desktops using Nvidia 1660 gpu.  Live Update fixed earlier problems, but now my earnings are piling up in the Norton wallet balance and when I try to "withdraw" my earnings to my Coinbase ETH wallet the process fails every time.  I was able to withdraw to Coinbase before the last Norton software update.

super ridiculous mining app/pool , give us access to receive our funds so we can hop out of this mess norton claims is crypto & choose a REAL mining pool

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

We tried to simplify the display because of the incredibly high gas prices by showing a single value instead of pending vs. what is in your wallet. When trying to move all of your money, some is still in a pending state. We will work out a better solution visually to show what is going on.

One thing to note, is when the money is "pending" it's because it's in our wallet (Norton), and to move to your wallet we have to pay a transaction fee. Imagine you only have $1.50 in pending, and $50 in your wallet, if you try and withdraw all $51.50, it will fail, as moving the $1.50 could potentially cost $15 transaction fee. With gas fees so high lately it's making it more difficult to show a simple solution.

I'm trying to withdraw $64 of ETH from Norton to Coinbase. The gas was $11, and the attempted withdrawal failed repeatedly. I've been successful in that past.  Did something else inadvertantly change in the recent update?

to be more accurate in how much to lower the amount you withdraw. i have noticed in my withdraw i had to leave the gas fee amout in the nortons  wallet to have the transaction go threw something maybe nortons should simplfy to avoid mass confusion and major frustration and improve customer interface with wallet app

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

With the new changes introduced, the user does not need to adjust the withdrawal amount, it will be auto adjusted based on the pending balance.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

Based on the suggestion to reduce the amount you are trying to withdraw, I wait until the "Mining Payout" statement appears in the Norton Wallet (i.e. "October 23,  2021  1:55:15 AM ..... Mining payout   0.004506019894 ETH"  Then only try to withdraw that amount.  After many failed transactions, this resulted in a successful withdraw to my Coinbase.com account.

Having same issue.  Have tried all recommendations and still get transfer fail.  So frustrating.  I should have known better than to trust Norton

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

I quit using Norton crypto and have about $15 in the Norton wallet...sometimes the gas fee is $5 more or $5 less...no matter what number I enter, it will not transfer it to coinbase...

Please can send me a DM with your norton account, and we can take a look at the issue.

Same issue, cannot withdraw no matter what amount I entered

How much is in your wallet currently, and how much are you trying to move? Also just a clarification, if you try and move $1, $10, $100, $1,000 you will pay the same transaction fee, therefore it is highly advised to leave the money in your Norton Wallet.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

Can I check if I need to select a particular currency before attempting to withdraw.

I have around 0.0033 and I tried as low as 0.0023 but still failed.

My only concern would be to test if I could transfer to my coinbase wallet and not waste unnecessary power on this.

Thanks

I am experiencing the same issue.  No matter what amount I enter to move to coinbase it fails.

see responses above, how much are you trying to withdraw?

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

I have just over $15 in the account.  The GAS fee cost this morning was down to something like $5.15.  I first attempted to withdraw $9 and move over to coinbase so I could move it over to my BlockFi account (They pay APY of 5% on my deposits).  I then attempted to a single $1 just to see what happens.  I failed...  I don't really care that it was costing me $5.15 to move it I just wanted to test the theory that withdrawing lower amounts would not fail.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

Same here and I have not used Norton for mining for over a month so there couldn't be anything pending...I have $13.45 which will be in limbo somewhere lol...gas fee now is $18.49 but was about $6...I tried lots of amounts like $1 or $2 or $3 while gas was $6 but it will not transfer anything out...

Norton needs to have the software do all the calculations of what is actually available to transfer out and stop blaming everything other than Norton.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

To be clear, we have put the blame elsewhere. We made the decision to combine the pending and actual amounts in thinking it would make it easier for people to know their total amount. That has clearly created more confusion than we expected. We will be updating with more details to make it easier to understand what can and cannot be withdrawn.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

Something must have changed over the weekend.  Try it now.  I was able to move my entire balance minus the GAS fee of $4 and some change to coinbase this weekend.

Also,  I don't know if it makes a difference or not.  I only had a coinbase account and not both the Coinbase and coinbase wallet accounts.  I did not know they have two different sites or if that even makes a difference.  If you don't have both you might make sure you do and then try to move it out.

Re: Repeated Crypto withdrawal failures.

I just re-read my response, I missed a critical word, "not".

To be clear, we have not put the blame elsewhere.
