Reset settings password option is gone??

I forgot the password to my NIS settings (NOT to my account!!) but I can't find the good old "Reset settings password" at the bottom right of the "Select Your Uninstall Preference" window in "Programs and Features" (as outlined here https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v44151547_ns_retail_en_us?client=norton&q=reset+password&site=nrtn_en_US)

Is it just missing in my installation or did Symantec in their infinite wisdom decide to remove it??

Re: Reset settings password option is gone??

I tried to find a thread that discussed this feature being unavailable. I cannot find it. At that time, I tested the instructions from that KB article and there was no option for the password reset.

At this time, it appears the only way to reset the password would be to uninstall Norton removing all settings. But I have not, and do not want to test this option.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
