When should I run my Norton Internet Security as the Administrator ? And when should I not run it as the Administrator ?
The only time you need to use a Windows admin account to run Norton is if you need to change settings. Usually you should only need to use the Standard Windows user account, and the Norton protection features will run in the background.
So when I open up properties in Norton to turn on the use as administrator will it automatically turn off when signing out of my Norton ?
If you are using a Standard Windows user account, Right clicking the Norton desktop icon and choosing Run as Administrator will not work. You will still only have the features allowed by the Standard Windows user. You have to use an actual Windows Admin account to be able to access Norton Settings.
