Runliveupdate problem or a glitch?

Hey there N.C

I've ran RunLiveupdate as I usally do and always it shows good green check marks. This time one of last time updates showed an error . I have tryed again and it was good. My concern why did it fail the last update? I dont want to happen again.

Re: Runliveupdate problem or a glitch?

Hi,

sometimes these can happen. It is caused by many things, most of the times it is a little download glitch (interrupted download, or something like that). Nothing to worry about :). Norton always redownload "corrupted downloads", and you will get those updates 1-2 minutes later.

Re: Runliveupdate problem or a glitch?

When that happened to me for the first time, it was scary.  I contacted Norton Support about it and waited for response.  Meanwhile/or next day, I tried LiveUpate again and found no errors or failures.  Since then LiveUpdate failures have happened only once or twice; each time, I waited a few minutes and ran LiveUpdate again and had no problems.

Note, only about three such failures over the past three years running LiveUpdates about three to five times per week.  Not really significant problem here.
