If you mean usernames for this community anything will do that does not identify you.
If you mean userids for various websites that you login to then:
Use the same password generator that Norton has devised.
It should be a random string of numbers, upper and lowercase letters and if allowed special characters anywhere from 11 positions or longer but longer is better. I prefer 20 positions or longer. If you use a password manager there is no need to remember it just like you do not have to remember your password.
Many sites use your email address as the username and also bring it up back up to you next time you login but I would prefer a username as unique and random as a password and must be filled in by user each time.
