Scan in safe mode on Vista due to Norton not removing viruses...

I have done a full system scan and have found 2 viruses/trojans that canot be removed by Norton and need to be manuallly removed.

Trojan.adh.2 and adware.zwuni!gen1.

When I click the Get Help, since the delete does nothing, it tells me to rescan in safe mode.  When I reboot into safe mode and click on the Norton 360 icon on my home screen, it tells me it cannot run scan in safe mode and I need to go to norton.com/nss1 to download the security scanner.  Obviosuly, I cannot connect to the internet in safe mode, so I am at a loss as to what to do.

I know just enough to get me into trouble, so please be detailed in your assistance.  Thank you very much.

What are the names and paths of the files being identified as trojans.  These are heuristic detections and could be false positives.

Re: Scan in safe mode on Vista due to Norton not removing viruses...

Hi  Deblonde1,

I think you are using older version of Norton 360 since you are unable to get the option to run Full System Scan in Safe Mode. Let us know the version of Norton 360 you have, you can find it from Help & Support > About. If you are not using Norton 360 5.0, you can upgrade to the latest version- Norton 360 5.0 for free.

Before that, please let us know the file details as requested by Delph. If it is false positive or heuristic detections, then visiting other forums won't help you much in the situation. Here are the technical details of Trojan.ADH2 and Adware.Zwunzi!gen1 for your reference:
