Screen

Some thread, especially with lot's of pictures, are ruuning of my screen. Ther are too large so I have to move the screen left and right to read what is being said.

Am I the only one?

Re: Screen

Hi Stu No you not the only one.  In some threads with large screenshots the forum page also adjusts itself for the width of the screenshot so sometimes I have to scroll horizontally. Quads

Re: Screen

Hi Guys

Maybe there should be a post on how to edit your screenshot/or how to cut and paste the extra off it.

Re: Screen

I try to crop or downsize my screenshots to maximum of 680 pixels wide.

That setting seems to maintain the format of the posts.

Maybe they could invent something which Automatically Fixes the Image, if it is too Large, to fit within the box.

Out of curiosity, have you tried using CTRL-MINUS in Firefox or the "100%" icon in the lower right of the IE screen?

That  always works with text, and on some sites it even changes the size of the picture. I don't know if it'll change the picture size here, though.

Now that is a good idea!

Code could be written to limit the size of the linked image.

I know it is possible. Other forums do use some thing like this as well

Actually image handling in the next forum software upgrade changes drastically.   Coming soon images will be uploaded directly to the forum, and there will be automatic resizing of overly large images.

I don't have a date, but I have seen a demo of the functionality.
