Secure VPN Stop Access Some Website

After Installing Norton Secure VPN, I found I'm no longer access this site "https://www.3dmgame.com/" which I can lookup game guides and download trainers in my home language and there is no China/Hong Kong in the Country list.  How can I work around this without turn off the VPN?

Re: Secure VPN Stop Access Some Website

Because of international legal issues, including censorship by the Chinese government, access to web sites can be denied to users from other countries. This also affects the VPN products where they cannot provide servers from China.

Unfortunately, your only options are to contact that web site and ask if they are allowed access from other countries, or to turn off the VPN when you need to access blocked sites.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

There is only 1 option that change be change with Norton Secure VPN, that is the Country of the servers.  There is no option/feature of to "Block an IP or Website", or "Allow an IP or Website" or anything.  The only option that you can change DNS is go to your computer's adapter option, but I do not know the DNS for this website.

Thanks for the explanation, but it is only Norton has deny for accessing this website and has no servers even in Hong Kong.  I have tried using 3 other VPNs (TouchVPN, ExpressVPN, and Hoxx VPN Proxy) beside Norton and all 3 of them allow me to access the website.  I have tried other websites in China, most of them are OK.

How is it possible for other company to access websites worldwide without problems and still remain private, while Norton has block the site and has no way to tweak Secure VPN to gain access.  I purchase Norton Secure VPN because I have using Total Security/Security Deluxe for many years and I trust the company.  Maybe after this 1 year of subscription, I'll be look for something else.

Okay, I was wondering where Norton VPN website filtering originates.   Where are the rules.  At the VPNs DNS level or VPNs Firewall or ?   ZenMate VPN uses Google Public DNS thru their servers ....and also filters sites.

No. And in fact the VPN DNS settings will override any manually set DNS settings on your computer or router.

If you need that site and Norton does not allow access, you should move back to one of the other VPNs that worked for you. You can request a refund from Norton Support.

Yes, I know VPN DNS settings will override any manually set DNS settings on your computer or router.

I was wondering why Norton VPN filters what other does not.    Is there a way to ask Norton VPN about the rule.
ZenMate headquarter in Germany.  May be where the VPN has headquarter?  May be where VPN has servers.  IDK
