Security Warning - Orange shaded Norton Security Screen

Just recently I have had 2 Orange warnings on my Norton Screen.  I have done a full scan each time; however on the 1st occasion the screen went back to Green when only about 10% of the system was scanned.  The second time the screen went

back to Green after only 5% of the system was scanned.  Can I quit the scan as soon as the screen goes Green as a full scan goes on for ?

Re: Security Warning - Orange shaded Norton Security Screen

We would need a little more information about these warning screens. What exact message was presented by these screens? If you get another warning screen, please post a screenshot of that message.

Instructions to post screenshots can be found here

When you were doing these scans, and the screen turned green, was anything detected by the scan? If you have already done a full system scan recently, you should not need to continue the second scan.

There was no accompanying message just a change of colour to the Security screen.  There were no threats discovered or removed by either scan.  In future if I have a similar encounter would it be  alright to quit the full scan when the screen goes back to green trim.

Without knowing what is being detected, it is hard to say. It would still help to post a screenshot if you see it again. Are you running a full scan as a recommendation from the message? If you start the scan, I would suggest letting it run. That may stop repeat warnings.
