Message: "Server error: We're working to resolve an issue that prevents us from completing your request. Try again later (-6)" appears when I activate my Norton product

This error may occur if there is an issue when you activate your Norton product. To resolve this issue, download and run the repair tool.

Download and run the Norton Activation Repair tool

  1. Download the Norton Activation Repair tool.

    Save the file to the Windows desktop.

  2. Extract the content of the Norton_ActivationRepair.zip folder to your desktop.

  3. In the extracted folder, double-click Norton_ActivationRepair.

  4. When you see the message" Success. Activation Issue Fixed", click OK.

Your Norton product is activated successfully.

Thank you for testing out that tool for us. It was just posted today and you are the first one that I have seen that has used the tool. I'm glad that it solved the issue for you. It sounds like it is very easy to use also. Thanks again.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit NSBU Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.

nope, didn't work - got the message that it was fixed but still get the error
