Settings password in Norton Security

I keep getting "Incorrect Password" when trying to log into any settings. Antivirus, Administrative, etc. How do I fix this?
I have uninstalled Norton and reinstalled and still get the same message. It isn't the same password I use to Log in.

Re: Settings password in Norton Security

Let us know if you find the Reset Password option when you follow the link in bjm_'s post. I have tried in the past to find this setting and it is not there.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Reset Password is not listed. This is what shows on Select Uninstall Preference

I plan to reinstall so keep settings

or        Uninstall Norton and remove all my user data.

Not sure which to pick as I have already done an uninstall and reinstall. Still can't access Norton Settings.

FWIW ~ The reset settings password option appears in the Select Your Uninstall Preference window only if the Settings Password Protection option is turned on.

So, DOCID: v44151547 is no longer valid?

That is what I have reported 'elsewhere' in the past. I'll bump that post again.
