Single licence for Secure VPN

I have a single licence for Secure VPN, but I have 3 devices: Windows 10 laptop; Android tablet; Android phone.

I am not  a 'power' user, ie. I am never on more than 1 device at a time.  If I instal Secure VPN on all three devices, will the licence switch between them seamlessly or do I have to nomimate a specific device.

Re: Single licence for Secure VPN

You would have to uninstall from the device using the VPN before installing on another device. Just contact Norton Support and get them to upgrade you to a 5 device subscription. Currently, the Norton web site shows the two subscriptions at the same price.

Re: Single licence for Secure VPN

Thanks for reply.

I'll contact Norton, though my only concern is that my current licence is via a Norton Security subscription which provides security for 5 devices and VPN for 1 rather than a standalone VPN

I'll update once I've got a reply.

Re: Single licence for Secure VPN

I contacted Norton but, unfortunately had now luck with them providing VPN for additional devices.  Their argument was that the VPN supplied with Norton Security Deluxe was a 'free' add on, so it was not possible to extend the number of devices.

I've marked this thread as complete as the question that I asked initially has been answered.

Re: Single licence for Secure VPN

If you purchased your product within 60 days, one option would be to get a refund on your original purchase of the combo. Then purchase Norton Security Deluxe and Norton Secure VPN for 5 devices separately. Or if you are in the USA, you can purchase the new Norton 360 Deluxe product that includes the VPN feature.

Re: Single licence for Secure VPN

Hi Peterweb, thanks for additional suggestion and apologies for delayed response.

My original hope was that I could implement a VPN for my needs on the cheap simply using what I already had.  There are no solutions that allow me to do this, so I'll need to review the most effective cost option for me.

Thanks again.
