So how is identity safe working with Chrome these days?

As a long-time Firefox user, I've been using IE and/or hand-typing logins long enough now. I'm ready to give Chrome another spin. Ironically, I dumped Chrome several years ago because at the time they came up with some new add-on policy that temporarily disabled the norton toolbar. I just wanted to make sure that problem has been ironed out now, and that all norton add-ons are fully functional in Chrome.

This whole business model of company A providing a browser and companies B/C/D providing vital add-ons and extensions has just turned into complete chaos, but I'm not holding my breath that anything will change.

The toolbar works in Chrome but I've found a few sites that don't get auto-filled when I click to sign in.  Your mileage may vary though.  One annoyance I have in Chrome is the toolbar disappears when opening a new tab, then makes the page jump down when it reappears.  This can be a pain if you are about to click on something when it happens.

A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.

Re: So how is identity safe working with Chrome these days?

My 2 cents is/are: although not a fan of Chrome, either, I moved my 274 +/- logins over to Chrome back in October, 2015. I have yet to have a hitch with the combination. I don't seem to have the tool bar disappear on a new tab on any of our computers. I will be glad when FF is 'back' in Norton's fold, but, for me, Chrome works as advertised with the current toolbar. I have heard that some folks have a problem with the toolbar/Chrome filling in on some financial sites. I am hardly a tech Luddite but I don't ask a password manager to keep safe our banking and investment account data. I keep that separate on a secure pad in my home office, for whatever that's worth.

I know this won't necessarily help your situation, but this entry is just to let you know that it does work in some places.

No iSafe does not work correctly with Chrome.  I constantly have issues with it not showing up at all and yes it is ISafe that is the problem.  The same issues happened with it on FF.  I see they are going to give everyone an update for ISafe for FF 41 and 42.

Yeah that's just wonderful.. let's give updates to old versions that probably won't work correctly anyway.  With the speed of FF releases Norton will never catch up.  Ridiculous.  No ISafe on FF and a half *** working ISafe on Chrome.  I am still trying to find a suitable replacement to ISafe other than what I have written down at home and manually entering everything.

This is your best option and everyone else's >>>  find another product that is properly supported.  These guys are still back in 2015 working on fixes.
