This forum thread needs a solution.

"Social" and "Video" not working

I have had Norton Family since May of 2015, and even though I have correctly configured the "Social" and "Video" monitoring, nothing ever comes up in either of these tabs, although I know the child is using both of these features and have witnessed him using them.  Help would be appreciated.

Can you please let me know the child uses Windows PC or Android phone?

For Social networking, Norton Family monitors PC, not Android yet.  You should see the following details:

  • The name of the social networking website that your child visited
  • The account ID that your child used to log on to the social networking website
  • The age that your child specified while registering on a social networking website
  • The date on which your child visited the social networking website

If you still don't see them for PC, can you please ask your child log out of Facebook account (if this is the account he/she has), and log back in again to see if that helps.

Also, if the child uses Android device,  can you please let me know the Norton Family version on the device?  To find the version number, please go to your Android device, click Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> Norton Family.

For video monitoring, Norton Family currently supports PC, not Android yet.
