Software updater

I have a Lenovo laptop upgraded from 8.1 to Win 10 and a Samsung laptop of the same vintage upgraded from 8.1 to 10

Both are backups for my main Dell Inspiron 1500 7000.

I have Norton 360 on all these laptops.

The old ones have been getting slower and slower,

One day working at the Lenovo I noticed a new entry on the Norton opening MY NORTON.

The new entry is SOFTWARE UPDATER. I ran it out of curiosityit updated a few things and the Lenovo has been behaving a lot better ever since!

So....I  went to the other laptops, no sign of the new Sotware updater on either.

I phoned support. The helper said we are rolling it out gradually, but couldn't ansewer my question "if it has rooled out to one laptop, why not the other two?" They are all on my account.

So, I waited a couple of weeks, nothing came.

I phoned again. This time the girl took over my PC, looked around a bit the uninstalled, reinstalled Norton. No change.

So does anyone know anything at all about this?

you are getting it you just has to wait to the other computer is getting it it is comming

The phased roll out of the feature is dependent on exactly when each of your computers runs LiveUpdate. The feature may be available when one computer runs LiveUpdate, but gets turned off again before the other computers run LiveUpdate. It is a hit and miss thing and nothing to do with being targeted at specific users or subscriptions.
