Software Updater : Clicking on the 'View Result' button does nothing

On the "MyNorton" home page, Software Updater indicates 8 programs need updating.

Clicking on the 'View Result' button does nothing

just re-run it and - wouldn't you know - now it works fine. This is the first time it's worked after several attempts,
