Norton internet security Sonar notified me Ccleaner sonar.CryptikAf!g12 warning . Windows 7 .32bit
See here. There is an on going 3 page thread about it.
This case is different from the thread you mentioned. This one is affecting the regular ccleaner.exe, not the 64 bit one. The customer is using a 32 bit computer.
The portable ccleaner program comes with 2 executables--- -ccleaner.exe and ccleaner64.exe. The other thread used the 64 bit version... This one uses the 32 bit version.
Then I'm in the right spot as I have the 32 bit windows 7 .

To workaround your issue, you may try:
1. Run Norton Remove and Reinstall tool > reboot > update and, ensure your Norton is current.
2. Visit this page, and use other older version of CCleaner. Plz do not change anything in CCleaner and see if your Norton still flag and remove your CCleaner or not. If your previous situation continues, plz restore that item from Quarantine and TEMPORARILY exclude CCleaner in your Norton product.
3. Report a Suspected Erroneous Detection (False Positive)
