Re: SPAMED

So you let someone from a scam remotely take over your PC? Are you crazy? You better call all your credit cards and bank. Then change all your passwords immediately. Also run a credit check. Those types of scams look for personal info and plant keyloggers on your PC.

Re: SPAMED

Start with a full system scan with your Norton product. Doing this from Safe Mode with Networking. That way any drivers that may have been installed by the scammers will not get  a chance to load.

Searching for KMSpico seems to say it is a product to bypass the genuine activation of our Windows or MS Office products. So it is possible that the scammers have also stolen or somehow compromised your Windows activation key. If you can find that program in your Control Panel - Programs, uninstall it.

Then you might want to contact the genuine Microsoft Support  and see if they can determine that your system has not been compromised.   https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: SPAMED

All those are good but scanning with Norton will not do a thing. These fake Microsoft Support calls are basically a way of letting people inside your pc so they can scan it and still your personal info. I have seen these calls in action. They run a batch file and make you think they are scanning your pc. When is actuality they are stealing any personal info they can grab. Why people fall for this crap I will never understand.
