Re: spoof email forwarding to norton

This did not answer my question.. AOL, PayPay, ebay and others have a spoof email address so they can work on solving these fake emails and I wonder if Norton has a similar email address to forward spoofs to.  Roger

Not that I am aware of.

Thanks, anyway.  Just been getting some pretty professional spoofs from a gmail address but says it from Norton Support.

They are always some attempt at getting info.   Roger

Re: spoof email forwarding to norton

Norton is aware of these spamming/scamming emails. They are often offers from some company trying to sell you a Norton product, or an outright scam, trying to make you believe there is a problem with your system that they can fix for a fee. There is nothing Norton can do about these scammers.

The link Rainbow_2 gave above can put your mind at rest if it does happen to be a legitimate Norton email.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

No, problem.  I can spot the fakes and dispose of them.  I was only trying help Norton in trying to combat this trend.  Other sites and vendors, as I mentioned, like AOL, ebay, paypal and others wish to have you forward such emails to them for research.

I am just surprised Norton does not have a similar program.  Roger
