Spooler SubSystem App does not have a valid digital signature

What action should I take with this warning: "Spooler SubSystem App does not have a valid digital signature"?

I just turned on my PC for the first time since yesterday. I note from View Installed update history that 2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4056892) was installed yesterday. I have Windows 10, version 1709.

I have Norton Security 22.11.2.7.

Thank you!

Found this same message on my screen after today's Microsoft System update reached 100%. At first thought it was a virus or malware, but from your message am now aware that another's computer received the same screen alert. How should we respond Norton?

I had the same message with a warning yesterday and I now believe it has been quarantined??

That same warning has appeared on my laptop when I powered it up this morning after the latest MS update.

I have had the same issue since MS update (beginning of January 2018) but have yet to find any response if it is something to be concerned about.

Me too.  Same as all the above.  For now I chose to "Always Block".  Printer (wireless) still works fine.

Also ran Norton Power Eraser and found other files recently installed (probably MS Update) and are in question:

Windows/assembly/NativeImages_v4.0.......(long string).  Power Eraser identifies 10 files (of over 600) in that file that are "suspicious" .  Those I chose leave those alone for now.

Would be good to get some answers from Norton.

Update for the above.  I wrote: "For now I chose to "Always Block".  Printer (wireless) still works fine"

Actually, when I restarted and blocked spoolsv.exe from accessing the internet, my wireless Brother printer went "offline".  After going into the Norton firewall settings and Allowing it, the printer immediately came back online.

This is supportive of the file not being an issue and I thought this might help.
