Starting Over--cannot uninstall NOF

NOF v3.2.0.14 (I believe) Win 7 Pro x64 fully patched.

After having two weeks of no monitoring data, I've decided to uninstall and reinstall the NOF application, browser add-in etc. Yes, I was getting the "Your system in being monitored" popup and the computer in question was "linked" to the account. I un-enrolled the child, and the computer.

When I go into Device Manager, I get the Login box. I input my password and username, and it tells me that they are incorrect. I KNOW they are not because I can still login into the NOF site with the same credentials.

Any solution out there?

Re: Starting Over--cannot uninstall NOF

Hi btswein,

Can you please let me know what "Device Manager" you are referring to?  A screen shot with the error would be helpful.

Thanks

Re: Starting Over--cannot uninstall NOF

Ah, my bad, had a brain fart. I meant the Windows 7 "Programs and Features" section in Control Panel. When I launch the NOF uninstaller and input my password and username (that works fine when I login to NOF.com) it says the password or username is invalid.

Re: Starting Over--cannot uninstall NOF

Hi btswein,

Thanks for the information.  In this case, please log onto your Norton Family online account -> Configure Family -> Devices - delete the device (hover the mouse over the particular device)

Then go back to Control Panel to uninstall Norton Family.

Thanks

Katie
