Starting to think I have wasted my money.
Installed the trail and set up a small backup to test it out and it completed with errors. The errors being some files were not backed up. I tried it a few times and each time a different number of files were not backed up. I have no idea why some files should fail it's just a copy and I have no issue with local backups but more frustratingly I could find no way to discover just which files had failed.
I contacted customer support and asked how I could find out which files had failed and the response was to delete my backups sets and create something completely different that didn't error and then disconnect the session without a word. Nice work Dann.
Foolishly I bought 25GB and backed up my PC and my wifes. Both have completed with some files not backed up.
So, one more try and then I will get my money back and go somewhere else.
Can someone from Norton contact me plese and explain why some files are not being backed up and which ones they are.
I really did expect more from Norton and was considering moving my security suite to them, but that won't be happening unless this is sorted.
