I got  a screenshot of it today https://ibb.co/wd91DbT

If there is no way to disable it i will be leaving norton. I know where their vpn is if i want it. I paid for the computer nad i paid for norton so it is my choice and do not want to be subject to advertising which is what it is.

Most users here will be hesitant to open an unknown site or .pdf or .zip files for safety reasons.

Re: stop norton lifelock nag

then why does it say Allowed file types: txt pdf zip. when you go to add a file?

why not a jpeg or png ?.that is why i uploaded it and gave link in the first place. And I am a member logged in under my NAV ID

why would i put a bad file or link even if i were the sort?

I have now uploaded it as a pdf

We often wonder the same thing.

Unfortunately, the marketing department now seems to be running Norton. They feel we need these 'information' pop ups all the time to offer/remind us of additional features. No one seems to have found a way to to stop all of these.

Re: stop norton lifelock nag

norton is now an adware spammer. the claim they are service notifications. i am contacting the relevant consumer associations . It is a disgrace an anti virus company spamming people with adware. Norton say they will escalate and phone me back. i will publish the chat i had with them where they say it is not advertising but may be under promotions.
