Subscription expiring

My subscription is going to expire in 3 days. I have purchased the upgrade to 360 Premier Edition. I am still getting the warning that my subscription is going to expire. Every time I log into my norton account, it says I have a new product that i have not installed but I have downloaded it numerous times. In my account it shows Nortion 360 due to expire on Nov. 21, and Norton 360 Premier Not Activated

I have looked all over the help files and can't find anything to answer my question!

Hope someone can help!

Re: Subscription expiring

Hi, wilmaf,

Welcome to our community!

This should be fairly simple to straighten out, using the following steps:

  1. If you haven't already done so, shut down and reboot your computer; this may take care of it by itself.
  2. If your new subscription remains unrecognized, pull up your main Norton window and select "Support" from the menu at top. There, you will ffind an option to check/synchronize your subscription status. That should get things back in order.
  3. If you're still having difficulty, your message suggests a possibility that you didn't simply renew, but may actually have upgraded from Norton 360 Standard to Norton 360 Premier. If that's correct, you may need to obtain your Product Key from within your Norton Account, then go into your existing Norton product where it says it's about to expire and click Renew; at that point it should offer you an option to input your Key and get your new subscription recognized.
  4. If, having done these things, you're still showing that your subscription is expiring, contact Norton's Live Chat customer support folks: they're very good as straightening out subscription issues, and should have you going again in no time.

Re: Subscription expiring

Thanks so much for your help. I went through all the steps you mentioned, (I knew about the key, I just couldn't remember where I had seen the input line - I did try that and it kept telling me I hadn't downloaded. No - I HAD downloaded, multiple times!) so I had to resort to the Live Chat. The chain is only as strong as the weakest link, which would be me. I guess I have gotten so used to things that download and then ask if you want to install, and click there you go, that after the download box closed, I assumed it installed! duh! So the chat guy did all that and activated it for me, and I am good to go... hopefully lesson will be remembered for next time!
