subscription migration

I have recently renewed my NORTON Internet Security subscription - Product serial [Removed] - I have changed devices and wish to add my iMac.

Despite your headers stating that the product covers Windows, Android, iOS etc my attempt to add the  iMac meets with "device not compatible"

Kindly provide an explanation/solution to this dilemma.

Thank you

Re: subscription migration

iOS is iPad and iPhone operating system. Mac computers use OS X or Sierra. Therefore it will not work. Norton Antivirus for Mac is what you would have to use.

But then again Mac's do not require any antivirus. Also not sure what you read but an Norton Internet Security cannot be installed on an iPhone or Android.

Hello citysheps324

Do you mean that you now have Norton Security version That program can be used on MAC's if they use the o/s that are covered by the program. If you have the Norton Security program, you can add you MAC by clicking on More Norton>Add a Device. You will see a Tour which will show you how to install the program for that particular device.

If you just renewed Norton Internet Security, it might be possible for you to change the NIS to Norton Security Deluxe. To find out about this, you would have to give Customer Support a chat by using this link.  www.norton.com/chat    If you want to keep NIS, then you can not install it on a MAC, Android or iOS cell phones and tablets. NIS can only be used on Windows PC's and Laptops.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.
