Subscription Renewal email offering a different price

Hi,  Yesterday I renewed my subscription cost £74.98 and today had a mail offering same for £44.99 from the following e mail address :- 

Norton <norton@secure.norton.com.   Conytacting Customer support and giving all the details, I was eventually cut off and was unable to restart the chat.

Since there are a number of scams around I am wondering if the e mail was a scam.  I have previously been scammed by someone purporting to be from Norton.

In addition, has there been a change to the support contact, since I noted the queue numbers increasing AND decreasing several time nefore I was able to post my query.

 If you receive an email and want to verify if it is from Norton, check if the sender's email address is from one of the following domains.

  • @secure.norton.com

  • [...]

Please clear browser cache.
Please allow browser popups/cookies/ads/scripts/frames/trackers/content.
Please turn off VPN. 
Please Sign In to your Norton account before Contact Norton Support. 
Please - what is your geo-location.  I'll try to lookup Support phone number...if you want?

Thanks for all your comments. The 2 mails received (before and after) the renewal did NOT include additional services. This was obviously a marketing error which led to the confusion. Thanks again.
