Suggested Addition Feature: Threat notifications

I would like to see threat notifications via an indicator on the Core icon on my android, or similiar. I received a cascade of botnet threats within the last day, 43 as far, and the only way I know that was opening Core. Now, I normally open Core multiple times a day. I would not have bought the product if I were sort of obsessed with security; however, we all get swamped sometimes at work. So, please add threat notifications. If Core already has such a feature, mine is not working.

Okay. I wasn't precise enough in my wording. I'd like to see a threat notification count(er) on the "Norton Core" app shortcut for android. Same type of counter you see on text messages/email.  When I see threats I add them to "blocked sites". So, the sooner I see them the better I like it. I assume once I block a site good, or bad, I will no longer see threat notices from it?

Re: Suggested Addition Feature: Threat notifications

Micky. Open your Android app to the main page as shown below, just to the left and below your score icon tap "Threats Blocked".

On the next screen a listing by count and description of all threats detected by Core will be listed. The "counter" you are looking for is already present. Tapping each subset will then open and list the information for each threat detected.

Conversely, on your Android device Core app, in settings ensure you have push notifications ON, as well as in settings on your Android phone. Threat detections will always appear in your Notification>Alerts, with an audible sound and popup on your Android device as long as the app and phone settings are set to work hand in hand.

Cheers

Re: Suggested Addition Feature: Threat notifications

Ok. Thank you. I have all those things configured already. I've not explained myself well enough. Let me attach a screen print. What I am proposing is that the android Norton Core shortcut, as seen on my attached screen shot in the upper right hand corner have a counter attached to it to indicate the threat count. For instance like my Communicate shortcut on the left side middle of the screen shot. I'd like to have an at a glance look at the new threats home the home screen. This then let's me/us glance at the android home screen to see if I need to delve deeper into the Core App to look at new threats. It's exactly how we handle counters for texts, email, facebook, et al. Most of us look at our home screen and lock screens very often everyday so it would be very nice to seem threat count on the android home screen. I hope explained (attached file) that better this time around.
