SUPERBUG: Norton360 & Norton Antivirus Plus: Norton LiveUpdate Patches Causing Program Errors

Greetings:

I dropped Norton360 because the LiveUpdate Patches were causing errors in the installed program that forced Norton VPN to quit working. I switched to Norton AntiVirus Plus hoping to escape these issues. Now, I'm finding out that the LiveUpdate Patches are causing the same errors.

Norton TechWizards need to pay closer attention to the effect(s) caused to installed program software that either directly affect or indirectly effect VPN service.

I seem to be spending far too much time in Support Chat Windows assisting Norton with fixing THEIR problems. 

SEQUENCE:

Running Windows 10

Start LiveUpdate/Install Updates/?Patch Available-Install Patch?

The two different products are basically identical. The different product keys determine what features are made available to the user. 

Looking through the forums you will see many users having issues with the VPN feature. You should post your issue in the VPN for Windows forum board here.   https://community.norton.com/en/forums/secure-vpn-windows
