Support system for Norton is it Go to Assist?

Have a problem running security update file on 2nd computer. I rang the 0800 no for UK.

put through to Go to Assist!

No mention of Norton by them. took over my computer without explaining that this is what he was doing. Finally  told me that I needed a new a New Firewall costing £300- 3200. 

Are they a genuine source of Support for Norton Problems?

The safest way to get in touch with Norton Support is to ask here .... before and not afterwards!

Finally  told me that I needed a new a New Firewall costing £300- 3200. 

I hope you did not pay that and that they did not hold you to ransom to be able to use your PC again.
