Suspicious emails being sent out by this forum?

A long while ago under another account I made a post on this forum, over the last 2 weeks I have been receiving emails with ATTACHMENTS that claims to be an update on that forum post, of course I will not open attachments, I deleted the email immediately. I am wondering if anyone else are receiving these emails? Surly Norton does not send out forum updates with attachments, makes no sense..

Click "account" near the top of the page next to the inbox

Click the tab "subscriptions" and unsubscribe from that topic.
