symantec error reporting?

what is symantec error reporting? NIS 2010 submits some reports twice a day for me - no idea what's that about. In all of them the process name is ccSvcHst

Re: symantec error reporting?

Hi cinek,

Could you post some screenshots?

Also, check in History where it lists recent Errors, and let us know if you see anything related to CCSvcHst.

Re: symantec error reporting?

Thanks, cinek.

From the screenshot, the component which causes this error is cceraser.dll, a module associated with Client and Host Security Platform from Symantec Corporation. Try to set Tracking Cookie Scan to Ignore and check whether this error happens again. Also, restart your computer to Safe Mode and run a Full System Scan. Let us know the results.

Hi cinek, there is no reason to be overly concerned about these entries.

These are telemetry submissions that quantify particular conditions or behaviors of our software.

This information helps us to optimize and streamline product development.

Re: symantec error reporting?

I have the same error reporting as you too.  As long as NIS 2010 is working properly, I am not worry.
