TD Web broker account not working when web supervision is on

Dear Norton Family technical support

My family member who goes on a monitored account wasn't able to use TD web broker even through I never blocked any trading websites and banking websites on my All in Computer. It was still working on my family members laptop which is going on a monitored account.

That was horrible and made my family think that Norton Family blocks everything even through I did not block everything.

Please fix this problem for me?

We use Windows 8.1 November update on all of my computers

You said the account is not working "when web supervision is on", so I assume you have tried turning Web supervision off, then the monitored account is able to access the broker account (if so, that tells me the issue is related to Norton Family).

When you say "not working", doe it mean the monitored user see a block page?  If so, can you please send me a screen shot of t he block page by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

No, he does not see the error saying it is blocked, I see the web page loading slowly.

Thanks for the update.   Can you please let me know

1. if an un-monitored user able to access the broker page?

2. If you turn Web supervision off, is the monitored account able to access the broker account?

3. can you please send me the url to the broker website by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

Hi Katie,

The un-monitored user was able to access the broker page.

If I turn off web supervision or stop blocking all websites, the monitored user is able to access the broker account.

I will send you the url to the broker website by private message via the forum.
