Three different Macro Recorders won't execute mouse clicks

I have downloaded and attempted to use three different macro recorders. They are: TinyTask, Mini Mouse Macro and Mouse Recorder. They all record macros correctly. However, none will execute recorded mouse clicks when macros are played back. I'm guessing that either Windows Defender or Norton 360 is not allowing them to auto-execute mouse clicks. Is there a Norton 360 setting I need to adjust so that these macro recorder programs will work properly? I am running Norton 360, Norton Wifi Privacy and Windows Defender on Windows 10.

Re: Three different Macro Recorders won't execute mouse clicks

Hello sgfee123

Are you running both N360 and Windows Defender on the same Windows 10 computer? If you are running N360, then you must have Windows Defender disabled. Running more than 1 Real Time security programs can and does cause all types of conflicts and problems. Instead of getting more protection, you are really getting less protection. Running the 2 programs at the same time is most likely blocking the recording of your mouse clicks.

I would suggest that you disable your Windows Defender, uninstall N360 and then reinstall it again so that it can install properly. After you reinstall N360, remember to run Live Update, restarting as needed until you see that no more updates are available.

Thanks for the tip Floplot. I'll take your advice.

Also, I have just found a solution to my problem. "Run As Administrator" is the secret. The macro recorder programs work fine when run as administrator.

Hello

You are very welcome.

You could also turn off Fast Startup in your Windows Power Settings.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.
