Time per device question

Hi everyone,

My son has 3 different devices that I've installed the Family product on. I wanted a four hour limit for the whole day over all the devices. I realized today that he reached the four hours on one device and his just picked up the other one and it had another 4 hours on it.

How can I make it so that it's four hours total?

thanks,

Re: Time per device question

Hi tsuri,

Norton Family currently monitors time per device, not multiple devices.

We have added more flexible settings for users now, you can choose one common setting for all mobile or desktop devices or can keep separate setting for each device.

I'll report your inquiry to the management team.

Thanks

Re: Time per device question

I Also have this suggestion for you since we have many computers and tablets here at home.  Why not adding a "Global time limits", no matter  what device they use, they cannot go beyond that global limit.  But I still want to configure different limits per computer

Example: I have 4 computers at home,  3 gaming machines + 1 Working Machine(Very restricted no youtube, No games allowed,... etc)),

The Working machine is available all week long for 2 hours per day for home works.

The 3 other gaming machines are available only the week end for 2 hours per day.   But they discover that they can switch machines and have 6 hours of play the wee end.  That is the issue.  Maybe and other solution would be to let the user create a Group  named  "Gaming Machines" for example and set one set of rule for them would do the trick.

Thanks for considering this requested feature.
