Time not being monitored and Log ins are recorded as log outs

I have been noticing there is no record at all for ANY time on the three accounts for my children, although there are messages about blocked web sites. I KNOW they have been on the computer since I have let them work in front of me, but Norton is apparently not keeping track. Why? I'm running Windows 7 Home edition on a laptop with a wireless connection. We are using the IE browser. Norton does not seem to notice the computer is on since, when I look at the logs from the parent's page online, the Time tab states "No activity for the past 7 days." Under "All Activity," Norton displays a Log Out when the child logged in.

Is this something I didn't correctly set or is there a fix I'm not aware of?

Hi Junipermb,

Please make sure you have the latest version of Safety Minder Version 1.2.2.2 on the PC (Yyou can determine this by right clicking on the Norton Safety Minder icon in the System tray and selecting About Norton Safety Minder).

Do you see the NSM icon active (not dimmed) in the System Tray? 

Have you associated the child's Windows account to his/her online account?

Thanks for the quick reply. How do I find out the version of the software?

I do see the icon and it is not dimmed, and I did associate the children's Windows user names with Norton's children accounts.

Right click on the Norton Safety Minder icon in the System tray and select About Norton Safety Minder.
