If the question is about if the child can extend time in the bios. Please give non-administrative rights (limited or restricted) to your child’s user account. Otherwise, the kid would have the ability to tamper the system.
Thank you very much for your reply.
My son is 15 years old, and his windows user account is restricted. However, looking at his activities at Norton family I wonder about the line " Gerätezeit wurde geändert" means "system time has been changed". The line is found at every day. This is why I was asking whether it is possible to manipulate the time restriction by changing the system time.
Thank you very much in advance
Can you please let us know what Windows operating system running on the PC that the child uses, ex, Windows 7?
By default, only users with administrator rights in Windows 10 can change time and date settings.
To check this further, can you please send me your Norton Family account email address by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?
NF will automatically detect and revert any time/timezone change initiated by the child back to the original state on the PC, and also send an alert to the parent indicating the same. That’s the alert this parent is seeing…
A standard user will not be able to change the Time Settings, but a standard user will be able to change Time Zone settings in any OS (except Win XP).
