Time Supervision when grouping all devices

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the feature just doesn't work the way I want.  I apologize if this was covered, but my searches only turned up a thread from 2010 that had no real resolution.

I'm grouping all devices for time supervision and setting time limits.  Let's say 1 hour per day.  Why does this equate to 1 hour per day per device?  If I wanted to give them separate amounts per device, I wouldn't have grouped them. There are two computers in our den that both of our children can log into.  I want them to be restricted for a certain amount of time across all machines.  I want them to be able to split the time any way they want, but I don't want them to get 2 hours by switching computers at the end of the allotted time.

Re: Time Supervision when grouping all devices

Hi Dave

As per current design, Norton Family monitors time per device and not cumulative of all devices.

As a workaround for your case, you can configure time limit on each device and restrict the time range to individual devices.

For example:
Device 1 - Number of hours allowed : 1 hr - Allowed time range(1 - 1:30PM)
Device 2 - Number of hours allowed : 1 hr - Allowed Time range(1:30 - 2PM).

This way you can restrict the time limit across two devices.
