Do you know the United States has more than one time zone? When I pick a region for VPN, I get only one choice for the US. When I open a browser, the location detector picks the east coast. Since I do not live on the east coast, I get the wrong time displayed in the browser. I know it's the VPN because the time goes to the right zone when I turn off the VPN.

If you select a region for the VPN, the VPN checks for the best connection available at that time. Sometimes I get connected to a US server when I live in Canada.
Are you on a specific website when you see the incorrect time? My browser does not display the time by default.
