I have AntiVirus running on Windows 10.
I want to trade up to 360. My subscription is not eligible for the advertised free upgrade, so today the sales agent sold me a new subscription to 360 for the sale price of 19.99. I have the product key and have downloaded it, but it will not activate. Do I need to uninstall the old AntiVirus completely? If so, what will happen to my Password Manager and Backups?

From the Norton Anti Virus interface, click on Help > Enter Product Key at the bottom right of the help window. That should initiate the upgrade to the new 360 product. You will need to restart your computer during this upgrade process. Then you will need to run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again. Restarting, not shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

Thank you, but I am still stuck. When I enter the Product Key it prompts me to download. I run the downloaded file and get the screen that says 360 is successfully installed. When I click the link to activate it, I reach the instructions that say click Open next to Device Security in the My Norton window. When I open Anti-Virus and go to Device Security, there is no option to "Open", only Scan Options, Performance and Manage My Devices. I tried Manage My Devices. This only prompts me to download again. I have downloaded multiple times, but the activation process keeps going around in a circle.
I suspect a difficulty is that in order to sell me the 360 product the agent had me create a new subscription using a different email address. When I open Anti-Virus I am using one subscription, but then I have to sign in with the other for it to accept the new product key.

Thank you very much. The My Norton window now looks like the picture in your post, and it appears that the product is now functioning as it should.
