Trouble verifying website built in Office Live

I have built my site, www.tobyscottlpc.com, in Office Live.  I do not have access to the root directory.  I have added the authentication code to the keyword meta tag section of my home/default page (gogo....yk099).

My understanding from similar posts this that you should be able to see the code and will need to have someone manually verify it.  I also understand that the auth code can only be 128 characters.  As pasted above it is 130 characters.  Not sure what to do to shorten it. I downloaded a new code and repasted it to my keyword metatag without the dashes...there are 2 so the whole code is now 128 characters...not sure if that is what you are looking for but thought I'd try it.

Thanks for your help.

TobyScott,

Welcome to the community!

Symantec Employees may have limited participation over the next couple days due to the holiday season to spend time with family and friends. As a result, response to your issue may be delayed. However, I've noted down your problem and will bring it to the notice of the concerned team.

Thanks,

Re: Trouble verifying website built in Office Live

Hello TobyScott,

Since TomV will be notifying the proper team, you are in good hands.

However, viewing your source and copying your code into a character counter shows it currently at 126. The dashes are an integral part of your code and should not be removed.

The code I am looking at today begins with go2mm9  and ends with  3bhfyk099.

When I previously looked at the code, it began with gogo2mm9. The extra "go" at the beginning may have accounted for the 130 character count.

To make it easier for the Safe Web team, could you edit / re-paste your code so that it is 128 characters in length?

I will be happy to look at it once you have changed it.

Thanks!

Re: Trouble verifying website built in Office Live

That looks great. 128 characters exactly.

Now, just sit back and wait for the Safe Web team to manually examine your site.

Once ownership has been verified, your site will be queued for the rating evaluation.

Be sure the code remains in place until ownership is verified. Leaving the code in the meta tag will not affect your site or the visitor's experience.

Best wishes for your website!

Hi TobyScott

Thanks for adding the auth code in a meta tag on your site. We have verified owership of your site 'tobyscottlpc.com' based on the meta tag.
