Two Patches Today

I'm recently back to Norton, having left 3 years ago due to the patches that usually fail. Today when I got home from work on 3 computers I received one patch, ran LiveUpdate and received another on 2 of the 3 machines. The third only received one. What are they for?

Also, what is the latest update on the status of the icon being black and white in the bottom right system tray.

Norton-when you release a patch-is there any way to display what it is when a user is downloading it instead of having to come here and search your website? I know I can click on the link but it doesn't give you too much details.

Re: Two Patches Today

Hi Jimbo40, a link from Gayathri_R : https://community.norton.com/en/blogs/product-update-announcements/norton-2217246-windows-now-available . The product update announcements gives info about latest patches.

Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit.

Re: Two Patches Today

This is the screen I see when I try and find an answer to my question. It needs to be simplified.

Also, what is the status of the black and white icon in the system tray?

Re: Two Patches Today

Today the icon in the system tray colors are gray (instead of yellow) and the checkmark is green.

Re: Two Patches Today

Silent Mode turns Norton tray Icon from yellow to grey.....and on machine start/restart Norton tray Icon is (may be) grey first...then yellow.
