Un-registering a Key Code

My account shows 23 days days left on the existing plan, I ordered another plan from one of Norton's  partners and tried installing the key code. it shows it expires 1 yr from today what happen to the other 23 days??

How do I Un-register the new Key Code so it can be installed when the previous one expires?

I tried live chat but it don't work even after following their steps for Firefox. Phone don't work for us hearing impaired folks and email support is missing.

"New" key starts "New" subscription term.
Please contact Support to request remaining days from old key subscription term added to new key subscription term.

Next time maybe wait until one day remains. 

Norton Community does not have access to your Norton account, subscription details nor payment method.  

Norton Support is via Chat or Phone.  No Email support.

Activate or renew using a product key purchased from a store ›

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • To activate your subscription, in the Norton product main window, click Activate Now.

    • To renew your subscription, in the Norton product main window, click Help and then under Account information, click Enter Product Key.

  3. Enter the product key that you received from the store.

    To locate the product key, see Find your Norton product key.

    If your product key does not work, see Message: "Invalid Product Key".

    If you use a product key, the remaining days with your current subscription do not get added to the subscription associated with the new key.

The circle gets smaller, I tried chat same problems on Firefox.

I had to download and install Chrome to communicate via chat.. Tell your engineers to fix the Firefox interface !
