Unable To Activate, This Norton Core is registered...

A couple months ago I gave up on my Norton Core after having the multiple disconnects per day problem. At that time I attempted to reset it I have seen on that thread that the disconnect problem appears to be solved, so I decided to give the Core another try.

When I go to set it up from scratch, it fails and I get an error that says "Unable To Activate, This Norton Core is registered to another account".  I have also noticed that when the Core starts, my phone sees the old wifi network I had set up on the core, so it seems that the Core was not really reset when I tried a couple months ago.

If I instead try to just log in to the app as if my Core is already set up (I am on Android), I get this error:  "Unable to sign in.  Please use a Norton account associated with a Norton Core.

I think what I need to do is a complete Factory Reset on the Core, since it appears to be in some sort of reset limbo.  Are there instructions out there on how to do a FULL FACTORY RESET, so that it is like it is being powered on for the first time?

Hello KMP14 Indeed. Full factory reset your Core and tell it to completely WIPE it and all its settings from your account. Setup the Core as if it were completely new. Let us know if you need assistance.

I am good now.  Did a factory reset again, and this time it really did get reset.  Thanks!
