Unable to add device and ccSvcHst.exe Application error

Hello,

  I added my PC using ‘add device’ and then installed Norton Family 2.6.0.52 from onlinefamily.norton.com. However my PC ("Big Bubba") does not appear on my Norton Family Account's device list. Using the same procedure, my other PC ("Loft2") shows up OK. I have uninstalled NortonFamily, tried installing NortonFamily from different browsers, etc. I have also removed the Norton Family account and re-created it.

  On the same PC, I am also running Norton 360 version 20.2.0.19. With Norton Family installed I get ccSvcHst.exe Application error when logging out of any account (monitored or not). I have uninstalled Norton 360 and reinstalled but this does not appear to make a difference.

  I used to have this all working but a few months ago, there was an update to Norton Family and the application error appeared. I waited for a while thinking there would be patch, but I need something running now for the grandkids.

  The PC with the issue is running Windows 7 64 professional with all updates applied.

Hi RandyStorm,

You mentioned "my PC ("Big Bubba") does not appear on my Norton Family Account's device list..."   Do you see the PC listed at Settings -> Profile online?

  The PC is not listed.

  Settings -> Profile online  "We’ve detected 1 computer running Norton Family." and lists one PC but not the other.
