Unable to change time restriction

won't let me change child's policy on time restriction.   It won't let me turn it on... Please help

Hi pcantoni,

Thanks for the screen shot.  I assume the page says "Time Supervision".  

1. Does the issue only happen to Time Supervision, what about other Supervisions, like Web Supervision?

2. If you use another browser on the PC or us different PC or device, do you see the same issue?

3. Can you please send me your Norton Family account email address by private message via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

have same problem also in Video Supervision and Mobile App supervision;

have same problem also with other PC and/or browser.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. If these features don't work, I'm not sure if Norton Family has been installed successfully on your PC or not.  If you login to the PC or child's other devices as the monitored child and try to visit a forbidden website, do you get blocked?

Hi,

tried to visit a forbidden website from child's device. It was blocked as expected.

Be advise that problems are finite to services that I'm not able to administer from the Norton Family Dashboard (not mind the PC or the browser I connect from).

In order to better explain I attach two more screenshots.

In the first you find what I see from the dashboard if i go in the "House rules" section ("Regole domestiche" in Italian language).

If I try to enable one of the grey section (for example "Supervisione Orario" in order to set Time Restriction) I obtain the red error you find in the second attached screenshot ("impossible to update set child policies" )

Please, help.

Hi pcantoni,

Thanks for the additional information.  To correct the error "impossible to update set child policies", can you please remove the child and add again?  Please let me know if it works for you.

To remove child: log onto NF online account -> click Children tab -> select the child profile -> Profile settings ->Delete xxx's profile -> confirm

To add child back: log onto NF online account -> click ADD CHILD button and go through the steps on screens.
