Unable to update above version 22.22.6.10

I have the problem on one computer that my Norton Internet Security is still on version 22.22.6.10. I have already reinstalled Norton 3 times. The program is only updated until 22.22.6.10. I installed the latest version on all other computers. The Norton Update Center also shows the message that no updates are available and the system is up to date. What could be the reason? Or can the delay also be normal?

I use Windows 11 Home 21H2. All updates are installed.

Thanks for the post-back. Please try the following "removal only" scenario:

https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v60392881

  • To only remove your Norton device security product, please pay close attention to step #5 in the article. Once the removal is complete, follow on screen prompts to restart your machine. DO NOT reinstall your product.

  • After the reboot, log into your Norton account to reinstall your Norton product. Once installed manually run live updates to install all patches that are available. Make sure you reboot as each patch is installed whether prompted to do so or not. This will ensure the patches are installed separately and completely. Continue until no offerings are available and restart a final time. 

Lets see whether that makes any changes.

I have already uninstalled Norton with the Removal Tool, just as described. Again, the last update is 22.22.6.10.

As a follow-up to the thread. Booted my new HP laptop earlier with Windows 11 Home 21H2 build 22000.918. I found that my last session had silently updated Norton to 22.22.7.14, running live updates a silent patch was in place so I performed a system restart. The Norton 360 version is now 22.22.7.13. There aren't any noted issues. Is your Windows 11 install also build 22000.918 ?

A new version has been released, 22.22.8.15, can you attempt running live updates to verify if you can get that update? Here is the blog post link:

live update does not show the latest update. Norton says everything is up to date. In the meantime, however, at least version 22.22.7.14 has installed.

Snowstorm, have you tried live update today for the latest patch? If successful you should be on version 22.22.8.15. I just got the latest patch via LU.

live update unfortunately says that no update is available. (Closed). The program version is currently still on 22.22.7.14.
I have no idea why this doesn't work on this notebook (HP X360) :/.

Snowstorm its been a few days since the last post. Out of curiosity has live update provided the latest patch for you? ALSO, is your OS fully patched as well? Drivers current from the OEM?

No, unfortunately not, the 22.22.7.14 is still installed. But he doesn't find a new version either

That version is the release that has been the PITA for a lot of customers. I had it on one of my machines and a patch was released the next day. What is your geo-location? Country of origin? Wondering whether that may have something to do with the patches not being delivered. Throttled again or just blocked due to another bug being crushed.

The location is Germany. I only have the problem on one notebook that the latest update is not pulled. The current version is always immediately available on the other notebooks.

Version 22.22.8.15 is currently installed on all computers. Newer versions are not found.

That is not good. Please allow me to forward this to the Norton team. I cannot research nor find any reason posted officially that would indicate there are issues with product updates within the EU market. Thanks for being patient.

Sollte man die neue Version 9.11 nicht mehr per LiveUpdate finden, dann führe mal das NRnR- Tool aus( LINK).   

Naja, jeder Rat kann nützlich oder teuer sein und eine Rückantwort daraus macht ihn noch und noch schöner Well, any advice can be useful or expensive and a response from it makes it even more beautiful

I'd bet this is being throttled in some geo-locations for one reason or another. Its not making any sense whatsoever otherwise. Norton hasn't chimed in with anything yet either.
