Unblock the blocked activity

When norton asked about the program trying to access for the first time, i choose block in the meantime or something similar to this term. Now i would like to let go that program to access to the internet. Where do i change that? I can see them on the history list but it's just greyed out.

Re: Unblock the blocked activity

I finally resolve the problem by uninstalling the Norton. Because, with ctrl+alt+del i was unable to end the exe. Pause and disable protection didn't work as well. After uninstall windows built in firewall involved into same action. But this time I was very easily handle that my own. Now my computers connected to the local area network with that specific program can talk to each other.

Sorry for your issue.  Did you try to end the executable thru Task Manager.

Was Norton Smart Firewall -- Automatic Program Control -- On

Was issue caused by Norton Smart Firewall Settings or Network Settings (Network Trust/Device Trust).

That is by design. The Norton Product Tamper Protection feature protects any and all Norton processes and files from being accessed from outside the Norton programs. If you are able to disable Norton, so could any malware that might get onto your system.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Oh, I thought the user was trying to stop a program (not Norton) file.   The user was trying to stop Norton?

That is how I read it. They are trying to use the program they previously blocked. Not stop it. Your first post here would have addressed this. That or resetting the firewall.

Yes i tried pause Norton firewall, disable protection. Unfortunately i was unable to resolve the problem. Then i wanted to kill 3 Norton process running at the background by ctrl+alt+del. You can't just kill those.

I found Norton not so easy to use. I probably use same effort with Norton as i would with another app. It lead me to uninstall.
