Unblocking a blocked network

I was wanting to know how to unblock a blocked network.

The reason why I bring this up is because I have this program that connects other peoples computers directly called LogMeIn Hamachi and a couple of days ago it said that it blocked a network connection and the program hasn't been working since. Somebody please help!

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

Hello

What did the blocking? Did LogMeIn get blocked? What does it stand for in your post? Are you saying that N360 blocked LogMeIn?

Thanks.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

Norton 360 did the blocking. No LogMeIn didn't get blocked, a network it was using got blocked. The LogMeIn Hamachi is the program.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

If it helps this is what it says when I diagnose someone else in a channel

Tunnel: OK

Local results:
    Adapter configuration:
            Cannot get adapter config
    Traffic test: Cannot complete test
Peer results: [202-338-674]
    Adapter configuration: OK
Traffic test: Inbound traffic blocked, check firewall settings

Also one last thing is that in the 30-Day Report it says that it blocked 1 wireless hotspots.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

Could you find the log entry in Norton History and report what it said?  It might be in the Firewall logs or the Intrusion Prevention log.

How do you get to Norton history?

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

Hello

Open your Norton Product>Security>History

How about writing a Firewall Setting allowing traffic in and out with that particular network>Save or Apply> move rule to the top. Restart computer and then try.

Thanks.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

I don't know what the network name was.

Sorry I'm really new to this.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

This is what it said:

Category: Firewall - Network and Connections
Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,Category
7/30/2016 9:23:54 AM,Info,"Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter \"LogMeIn Hamachi Virtual Ethernet Adapter\" (IP address: 2620:9b::1955:85f1).",Detected,No Action Required,Firewall - Network and Connections
Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter "LogMeIn Hamachi Virtual Ethernet Adapter" (IP address: 2620:9b::1955:85f1).

But one thing about it is that it has a similar message like 5 other times too.

I did just copy that IP address and allowed it but I haven't been able to see if it works because the other person isn't on yet.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

Norton history is just showing you connecting to the VPN network and that Norton is monitoring the traffic.  This is normal and expected behavior.  It does not show that Norton is blocking anything..

But how do you undo a wireless hotspot because nothing is working.

Re: Unblocking a blocked network

There is FAQ documentation on the Logmein Hamachi website for troubleshooting connectivity problems.  The firewall blocks traffic or endpoints on a network, not usually the network itself.  If the program is shown in the the Norton Firewall Program settings as allowed or auto, then the issue would be with Hamachi.  You could try using the Firewall reset option in the Norton settings, and if that does not resolve the problem, your issue is probably with the VPN itself.
